Charm Person, Chromatic Orb (each person can only be targeted once, I'd allow it), Jump, Magic Missile (get extra missiles that you can use on extra targets, again I'd let it go)
Blindness/Deafness, Enhance Ability, Hold Person, Invisibility, Scorching Ray (get extra missiles that you can use on extra targets, again I'd let it go), Spider Climb
Fly, Gaseous Form
Banishment, Charm monster,
Hold Monster

(technically any such spell from any list of levels 1-8, eg Longstrider)
Note - I've upcast the bolded ones as a wizard for the extra creature effect, so I'd say useful.

One might also consider the level 6 spell Chain Lightning, which I think is fair to allow if you allow Chromatic Orb.
If you're willing to dip back into 5e spells that haven't been updated, there's also Catnap from Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Intellect Fortress from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Both of these are fairly situational, but when you need 'em, you really need 'em.

Chain lightning shouldn't even be in question. It just straight-up fits.
Yeah, I would agree that Chain Lightning is clearly allowed, I just remember getting into a stupid argument with someone about it at some point. I don't even remember what their argument against it was.
And Tasha's Mind Whip seems like a great choice due to the debuffs it applies.
Does the spell say "You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above X." Then you can twin it.
Adding additional effects that might target others doesn't work. The language is clear and identical for twin.
This has been debated quite a lot, but I do just want to point out that what it actually says is that it applies to spells "that can be cast with a higher-level spell slot to target an additional creature".
The idea that this means it only applies to spells that say specifically "You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above X." in their description is one that some people seem to feel very strongly about, but the rules do not actually say that anywhere, so many people do not play with such a restrictive interpretation.
There's also some nice spells from outside the sorcerer list. Bless, Bane, Command, and Tasha's Hideous Laughter are all available through an origin feat or Fey-Touched. And Freedom of Movement is an option for Clockwork (and Divine Soul) sorcerers.

Heroism would be available through Fey Touched too, and Longstrider through Magic Initiate. Both somewhat situational, but again, when you need 'em you need 'em.
There's also Insidious Rhythm from the new Subscriber Content, though it's basically a worse Tasha's Hideous Laughter so probably not worth bothering with in this context.

I was prepared to argue with you, but then I reread it and I agree. While the original (2014) version specifies "a spell that targets only one creature" and goes on to say "To be eligible, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell’s current level." then specifically excludes scorching ray and magic missile. The new version however seems less restrictive and only says a spell "that can be cast with a higher-level spell slot to target an additional creature" - removing the restriction that it has to only target ONE creature to be eligible and adding the key words being "an additional creature" and removing the restriction that it can ONLY target one additional creature. Good to know as I'm working on making a Sorcerer for an upcoming campaign!

I am not commenting on whether any spell is 'good', but I completed the following list for all sorcerer spells where the Twinned metamagic is an option.
Twinned Spell
Cost: 1 Sorcery Point
When you cast a spell, such as Charm Person, that can be cast with a higher-level spell slot to target an additional creature, you can spend 1 Sorcery Point to increase the spell’s effective level by 1.
Cantrips
NONE
Level 1
Charm Person, Jump, and Magic Missile*
Level 2
Air Bubble*, Blindness/Deafness, Enhance Ability, Hold Person, Invisibility, Scorching Ray*, Spider Climb, and Tasha’s Mind Whip
Level 3
Catnap, Flame Arrows*, Fly, Gaseous Form, and Intellect Fortress
Level 4
Banishment and Charm Monster
Level 5
Hold Monster
Level 6
Chained Lightning
Level 7
Etherealness*
Level 8
NONE
Level 9
NONE
*NOTES –
Permitting Magic Missile and Scorching Ray is up to ther DM since it adds an additional attacking object and not a creature. Arguably, that attacking object would be targeting a creature, so it probably would be allowed.
Technically, this metamagic option should not apply to Air Bubble or Flame Arrows since at each additional level there are two bubbles or arrows created but, there is a decent possibility that most DM’s would permit it. It is also possible that it could apply to Etherealness as well even though it adds three creatures.

And, as has been mentioned a couple times, Chromatic Orb probably qualifies too.
The problem with Flame Arrows isn't the number of arrows involved; it's the fact that Twinned Spell technically only works with spells "that can be cast with a higher-level spell slot to target an additional creature", and that spell doesn't target creatures at all.
For completeness, subclass spell access that Twinned applies to:
Divine Soul:
1st: Bless, Bane, Command
3rd: Animate Dead*, Fast Friends
4th: Freedom of Movement
6th: Create Undead
Clockwork: Freedom of Movement (4th)
Draconic: Command (1st)
Shadow: Bane (1st)
And the following 1st level spells can be gained via at least one of origin feat, general feat, or species: Animal Friendship, Bane, Bless, Command, Heroism, Longstrider, Tasha's Hideous Laughter
*Technically increases the number you can affect by two, not one. I'd say targeting two additional creatures does let you target an additional creature, for all these cases, because an additional creature is a subset of up to two additional creatures.
I have only see charm person and hold person I think that would maybe be decent. Any other ideas?
Note - I've upcast the bolded ones as a wizard for the extra creature effect, so I'd say useful.

I think the list is the following (1st to 5th):
Charm Person, Blindness/Deafness, Enhance Ability, Hold Person, Invisibility, Spider Climb, Tasha's Mind Whip, Catnap, Fly, Gaseous Form, Intellect Fortress, Banishment, Charm Monster and Hold Monster.
Those all seem valid, but so do all the other ones we already talked about in this thread, like Chain Lightning, Chromatic Orb, Scorching Ray, etc.
