The Leonin hail from the valley of Oreskos, where they tend to form nomadic tribes, which they call "prides." The Leonin originally worshipped the gods of Theros, but, under the rule of the tyrant, Agnomahkos, the Leonin came to see the gods as mercurial and petty, realizing that they could just as well fend for themselves. Leonin pride themselves on self-reliance and tend to trust only the other members of their tribe, whom they consider family. Some still worship the gods, though, but their numbers are few and they tend to keep it to themselves.
In a Leonin pride, general responsibilities are widely distributed, with status being determined by inter-personal relationships formed between members. Prides tend towards matriarchy, with a council of well-respected women making most decisions for the pride as a whole. Although the prides are normally separate, they do choose a single "Speaker" once a year, who fulfills the role of a monarch over all of the prides. However, certain prides, known as the Ironmanes, do not recognize the authority of the Speaker and tend to be intensely territorial, especially to non-Leonin.

If I get the helm of the Gods. Do I wear it and pray as a neutral good Leonin. I feel conflicted to just switch. But they do worship heliod. Being a barbarian also doesnt really make me feel at home with a magical helm.
