I’m reading through Lolth’s Warrior, the latest Drizzt book. (No actual spoilers ahead).
In chapter 17, the school of chronurgy is mentioned and described.
We’ve had bleed over from Tal’Dorei into the Forgotten Realms before in the form of what information is given about Arkham the Cruel in Descent into Avernus. But that was in an adventure, where canon can be shaky because your player’s action determine the outcome.
To my knowledge, this is the first time we’ve seen Tal’Dorei bleed over in a novel.
I see it as a why not. Sounds like a fun little Easter egg. Mani don't even know how many drizzt books I am behind, I think at least 5.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."

I find this turn of events exciting.
