It was mentioned in a PC's backstory that a blue dragonborn slashed and blinded one of the PC's eyes, and I am considering having it be connected to the PC's demon/devil curse(the reason for wild magic subclass for the sorcerer). I also am planning on giving the dragonborn an cold/ice-based set of abilities. Any suggestions or ideas for this ?

From his castle in the Froststeel Cliffs, he commands his legions of berserkers and ice elementals on their conquests. The Dragonborn is actually descended from a Blue Abishai and if the dragonborn performs various tasks as dictated by their Abishai ancestor they may be granted access to the realm of Tiamat and join their hallowed ranks.
The PC that was blinded by the dragonborn was one such task, it served as the Dragonborn sealing their pact to serve the Abishai and become a Warlock taking the fiend patron but switching the spells to cold/ice based spells instead of fire.

I love the Blue Abishai idea so much that I made a stat block for it based on the warlock of the fiend. I fixed the error with the passive perception, added the blue dragonborn's breath weapon, and replaced some of the spells with more appropriate ones. When a spell wasn't available in the warlock's spell list, I took it from the blue abishai's list of spells.
Innate Spellcasting. The warlock’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the following spells (spell save DC 15), requiring no material components:
Spellcasting. The warlock is a 17th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). It regains its expended spell slots when it finishes a short or long rest. It knows the following warlock spells:
Dark One’s Own Luck (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). When the warlock makes an ability check or saving throw, it can add a d10 to the roll. It can do this after the roll is made but before any of the roll’s effects occur.

Mace. Melee Weapon Attack:+3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (3d6) cold damage.
