I am a newbie and leately working hard on my character. By that I need the help of somebody which is more into d&d and not such a newbie.
Right now I write some bullet points, and notes, and informations down for my backstory. But I am stuck with the hometown of my character. I have seen the map of Faerün (which is the main continent of the d&d world, right !?) and got overwhelmed.
Could you say me where my character hometown would probably be, based on following points from my backstory (for more informations just ask)?:
Is a human and comes from humans
Father and mothers are druids
Living by a big lake and the parents whorshipping Eldath
It is a peacefull village of simple and honest people
It would be so helpful to get a answer so that I can inform me with that more specific.
I wouldn't sweat that level of detail unless you want to. In your position, I would just hand those bullet points to your DM, and they may respond with either just "cool" or "ok, let's say this town, cause that works well with the world I'm setting up."
