I just wanted to put out a little question and perhaps some of you have ideas and tips. I am searching für DND related books. Books which are like a little guide through DND, a collection for the races, lore, history, classes etc.
That's a really broad question... is there maybe something specific you're looking for? Otherwise I'd recommend something like the Core Rules set (The Player's Handbook, DM's Guide, and Monster Manual). It covers most of the general concepts of D&D, with rundowns of the various races and some ideas of how they interact with each other and which monsters belong in what environments. If you're looking more for history and settings, though, it's probably a good idea to find an adventure book based on one of the settings that interests you... there isn't really a single good reference for all of the published DND settings in one convenient place... although there are plenty of wikis chronicling DND lore across multiple editions available online.
