l am makeing a homebrew magic item, and one of the things needed to make it is a lv 20 Forge domain cleric, but thats just what is needed class wise,l need help decideing what "rank" that person would have in the church(of gond or some other smithing deity). Like should l have them be the pope of the church of gond,or would "Archpriest" work? do dnd religions have the same "ranks" as the catholic church? if not,do they have any set ranks?
You could use some of the above, more traditional titles, or you could use a more thematic title, like Hammer of Gond, Archsmith, Big Metal Forge Man Person, etc. There's not really any canon name for those positions, as far as I know.

Prophet, Archpriest, Archbishop, High Priest, High Patriarch, Archimandrite, Archdeacon. These are some titles that might work.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
