Decide what part of the archetype you find compelling - the hybrid animal form, wildshape, or enhanced summoning - and go for Beast Barbarian, Moon Druid, or Shepherd Druid (respectively) or a multiclass of two. Or take the Shifter race from Eberron and play a Hunter Ranger - Summon/Conjure Animal spells plus Guardian of Nature will let you emulate the key features.
Pathfinder 1e got bogged down over time with countless half-classes and archetypes that were all over the place in terms of balance and theme, so there won't be easy ways to match them in 5e's more limited approach to customisation. That's why it's a better idea to focus on what it is you like about the Feral Hunter and find that feature in 5e instead of trying to copy it over wholesale.
There is also the bloodhunter order of the lycan, which is very similar to what was just described.
I agree with ratwhowouldbeking. The class is general enough that you can find pieces of it in multiple dnd classes, but too vague and open to make by itself. So go way of the beast barbarian, moon druid, swarmkeeper ranger, lycan bloodhunter, or whichever one you like the most.
Hi! I always wanted to play a feral hunter (https://www.aonprd.com/ArchetypeDisplay.aspx?FixedName=Hunter Feral Hunter) from pathfinder, but I am not sure about what would be the best build. How would you build this character in 5e?
