I was thinking in a build useing a 1lvl fighter+ 2lvl warlock
Fighter:
- proficiency with heavy armour
- fighting style: tunnel fighter (As a bonus action, you can enter a defensive stance that lasts until the start of your next turn. While in your defensive stance, you can make opportunity attacks without using your reaction, and you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against a creature that moves more than 5 feet while within your reach.)
Warlock
- Hexblade For more damage casting Hb
- eldritch invocations: devil's sight and grasp of hadar
Background : orzhov representative to eventually use Spirit guardians
Feat: warcaster
Then finally, the idea is, cast darckness on somethig i'm carring, go melee and use the bonus action for the tunnel fighter
So when someone try to move out you can drag it in.

Dime idea to optimize.
First thing you need to do is beg your DM to actually allow that OP as hell fighting style since it is UA. Next you might want to take at least 3 levels in warlock. Its pretty hard to cast Darkness - a 2nd level spell when you only have 1st level spell slots lol. When you hit level 5 I would take a 4th level in warlock and using the ASI to grab a feat like Gunner or Crossbow Expert so that you will have advantage on your Eldritch Blast rolls thus having a easier time keeping enemies in your 'Blackhole'.
An alternative method is grabbing the Sentinel feat instead of Warcaster and locking them in place with melee opportunity attacks.
