I'm mastering Storm King's Thunder with the same table for 11 months now. In two weeks, it will make one year that we play together, and I'd like to do something special. I don't have many ideas and I'm looking for help and advices...
They're stuck in a dungeon (on the roof of Lyn Armaal for those who know) so it's probably going to be hard to do something... but still, I want to try. Moreover, it's so close from Christmas and we should celebrate it :p (Next game is December 22).
Any ideas to help ?
Thanks a lot !

Phileas Deluor, half-elf mage lvl5 - ToA Alastar Lekto, human paladin of Kelemvor lvl 3 - Homemade campaign Fizz, Kenku rogue/cleric lvl 8 - Rise of the Runelord (5e ed. homemade) Bolgo "The dentist", Human warrior, lvl 5 - Waterdeep Dragon Heist
I've done something similar before - a themed holiday one-shot.
My group were resting up in a side room of a dungeon they were working through, so they could get spells back (this was AD&D 2nd edition at the time) and a couple of the party were on watch while the Wizard & Cleric slept.
A silvery portal shimmered and a figure stepped through it, which the characters noticed looked exactly like the party wizard, except about 20-30 years older. He told them that they needed to come with him and it was really important and told them a couple of things that only he would have known.
tl;dr - they got to go on a side mission to help future them, that was full of cheesy Christmas movie references.
This can also be done with the spell Summon Adventurers that my DM used on us once. He never told us anything about the spell, including it’s level, and it was a DM only spell.

Some sort of one-shot thing?
