I mean, you kinda just did? No sense in reposting the thread somewhere else. May as well tell folks what kind of "annoying" you mean right here and git 'er done.
Are you a gm or a player, do you play in AL or with friends? Are they just doing something that anoy you, or are they really disturbing the game? Without more information it is hard to advise.
There's no known way to slip an annoying player without suffering shame and guilt, short of ending your campaign, and starting up a new one hopefully under the problem player's radar. This never works, so just be brave and tell them that you or the other players don't want to play with them any more. Oof.
I thought that James Haeck wrote an article on this a while back, but I can't remember when/what title it had and can't find it now. I thought I remembered it boiling down to "don't be sneaky, honesty is the best policy so that at least you've got the moral high ground."
(1) Talk to them like an adult, being honest about why their playstyle annoys you, and try to compromise. If they're not willing to recognize the problem, then you probably don't want to play with them after all. Which leads to...
(2) Some people just don't work in the same group. That's okay. Talk to the other players in your group, starting with the ones you trust the most, about the player's annoying behavior. If they find him annoying too, it may be time to move on without him (i.e. boot him). If they don't have a problem with him, maybe you're better off finding another group that shares your playstyle. (I'm actually finding myself having to do this for the first time in a decade of playing...it doesn't have to be anyone's fault, some things just don't work.)

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
