Before the announcement of baldur's gate the descent to avernus, I created my first Aasimar warlock hexblade and the idea of my character is, he use to be a warrior of Tyr, but after doing some bad justice with the guild of Tyr, I was stab and kill.
After that, my character was in a place of shadows and the only thing in front of him was a complete pitch black sword floating in the air on a lake. My character a this point just felt like he had no choice and took the sword. So, this was his pact with an possible evil entity.
Now, after a few sessions, my warlock as started to have vision's of demonic wings, fire and a female voice talking to him in is sleep. At first, I thought it was a succubus or something like that. But, after doing some quest of retrieving some artifacts for my patron, I started to have other visions and this time it was about an angel doing some bad justice, just like me.
At this point, I was relived of knowing it was not a succubus but then, I saw baldur's gate the descent to avernus and I realize who my patron was! Zariel!
So, all this happened before the announcement of this awesome book that we will be able to buy in September and I was really hopping that in the book, D&D Beyond would put something about Zariel if she is your patron as a warlock. Because let's be honest here, i'm probably not the only one who Zariel is your patron and she look's so bad ass!
So, this is my character and I am really exited for this new book. I hope you like my story and the development of my warlock before this new book, it's really a good coincidence with Zariel and please let me know if you have any questions or any other idea for this book that we warlock's would like to have in it. Who knows, maybe the god's are watching us? Hahaha.

This is an awesome backstory. If you're looking for customization details for warlocks with Zariel as their patron, that's exactly what you'll find in the new supplement I just released today over at DMsGuild...
