I have a feeling he is referring to the DNDB character sheet not displaying the spells correctly when he goes through the process of increasing the character level in the character builder rather than an actual spell book.

Ran into the same issue, leveling up started clearing out spell choices regardless of class. Refreshing the page brings them all back though.
Had the same issue working on a wizard build. Sometimes it would show zero spells prepared like it was cleared out. Refreshing the page sometimes brought it back, sometimes I just got an error message with a beholder image on it.
