If you don't already have one do You want to get access to (Xanathar's Guide to Everything) because you're only real option is the Celestial patron because they are the only ones who gets cleric spells. And I would recommend connecting your pact boon with the god your going to favor.
If you're able to do a little min/maxing, I would also recommend hexblade, with the re-flavor that instead of a weapon made by the Raven Queen it is instead made by a dwarven God or a weapon passed down by a hero that was blessed by said God. Looking at the expanded spell list most of them are paladin spells.
And if you want to get a little further away from your comfort zone there is the divine soul sorcerer (also XGtE). The divine magic feature "allows you to learn spells from the cleric class." So you still have your divine link.
His job is to go around cataloguing all the magical items from the common upto artifact level and make sure anything of Dwarven make is given the appropriate recognition and respect and promote their use over those of other manufacture. He is rather loud and slightly deaf due to his years of working in a Dwarven smithy and favours being up close and personal if a fight breaks out wher is weapon of choice is a Warhammer (his old smithing hammer).
Preferred spells: Booming Blade, Thunderclap and Create Bonfire (think of it as summoning the fire of a forge) for Cantrips and anything that is loud and slightly obnoxious such as.Shatter or Thunderstep.
Feat wise, likely going to need Tough for some bonus HP.
EDIT: if you did want eldritch blast, see if DM will allow you to reflavour it as a Melee Cantrip and use it to summon a spectral smithing hammer.
I wanted to cast divine themed spells and be a dwarfy dwarf of moradin, however i want to give it a warlock spin and i overdid paladins and clerics.
Any suggestions for a cool back story for my dwarf? It would be really appricated!
