So, I am rolling up a new character for a game that I’m playing in. I though an elemental (earth) wizard would be cool, so I looked up the spell list. Focusing mainly on Acid and Bludgeoning damage spells with other spells like Maximilian's Earthen Grasp for slight crowd control, Buff spells like enlarge/reduce, and summoning spells like conjure minor elemental. My question is, what tradition should I use? If you’re wondering, the party without me in it is a Paladin (melee/small healing), a Ranger (archery), a cleric (healbot), and a sorcerer (Fire spells). The PCs who play the cleric and sorcerer probably have left the group, but I included them anyway.
I think that Abjuration, Conjuration, Evocation, and Transmutation can all fit nicely with that theme. I would also consider taking a couple of levels of Druid or Nature Cleric too for the flavor because that fits into the earth theme nicely.
Abjuration because how many books talk about defensive magic being something where the wizard centers themself and reaches down into the earth for strength?
Conjuration because you’re summoning things into existence and that’s easy to flavor as calling them up out of the earth.
Evocation because a lot of the spells that you’re looking at are evocation spells.
Transmutation because converting dirt into other substances just fits perfectly.

Either Transmuter or Conjuration wizard.
Transmutation sucks, so I'd choose Conjuration.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
