Which is why it's such a terrible thing to happen. They lose all the spells they gained from levelling as well as any they wrote in it. They would have to spend time and gold to put them all back - and that's if they can find them all again.
Basically - as a Wizard don't lose your spellbook - and as a DM don't remove it from the Wizard permanently.
So if a wizard loses their spell book they lose all spells they don't currently have prepared right? Just wanted to have that correct.

Yes. Unless they can get their spellbook back.

I am a DM and I think I might have a goblin or something steal the wizards book for a little.

That's why they have to copy some spells into scrolls or get an extra Spellbook ( if any burglar wants to pick wizard's stuff ).... :(
The wizards lose spells when he/she have to take a nap or a long rest.

They lose spells when they rest? How?

This isn't true. Wizards only lose the spells they have prepared if they choose to forget them by preparing new spells.
It says you can change your prepared spells - not that you have to.
