Every wizard needs a place to call home, where he can research spells and scry on his enemies. This thread is for discussing how you would design one and what things you would put in it.
I personally would make a tower, put Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum on it and place Glyphs of Warding everywhere. Or I would look for a cave, cast Passwall on the floor and go down sixty feet and create a cavern using Move Earth. If you want to leave just dimension door out to the cavern.
