Augur Leech

The Augur Leech (aka The Seer Sap) is a small rod made of iron with strange spiraling inscriptions on it. The user concentrates on a magical source (this can be a creature, person, or item) and drains the magical essence from it over 1d4+1 turns. The essence is transferred to the user, taking the form of extra power added to their next spell (power type and amount is determined by the circumstances- consult the DM). The target loses the ability to use magic until after the end of their next turn.

After use, roll a d20. On a 20 , the rod disintegrates into dust.

Can be used once per Long Rest.
