Alchemy Barrelhammer

This barrel has the handle of a greataxe and can be wielded as a great hammer. Inside the barrel is an alchemy jug which can produce any named alcoholic liquid of the highest quality. It can produce up to two gallons of alcohol per and refills when the attuned barbarian completes a long rest. This alcohol provides additional effects outside the normal drunkenness.

Strength of the Drunkard. An attuned barbarian can expend a charge to drink from the barrel and gain liquor induced strength which can take on many different forms. Ability checks and saving throws made with ability scores other than strength, can instead be made using strength. This lasts until a number of checks have been made equal to the wielder’s strength modifier.

Rage of the Drunkard. When entering a rage, the wielder can expend a charge to drink from the barrel to enhance their rage. The effect lasts until the end of the wielders rage and is chosen by a d6 roll.

1. Your movement speed is reduced to 0 for three rounds.
2. The barrelhammer gains the thrown property, with a short range of 20ft and a long range of 60ft.
3. On a missed attack roll your attacks still deal 2 damage.
4. Your movement speed increases by 15ft. 
5. Your armour class increases by 1.
6. Gain temporary hit points equal to twice your strength modifier.

 

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
