A dark silver ring set with a bright emerald, the entire surface of the ring is covered with intricate runes and arcane sigils designed to both increase the potency of spells and retain magical power.

Whilst attuned to this ring you have a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and your Spell Save DC.

Whilst attuned to this ring you can expend a charge and cast a concentration spell choosing to have the ring continue the magical effect without requiring your concentration.

As an action you can expend up to 3 charges to increase the level of a spell you are attempting to cast by a level equal to the charges expended. If the overcharged spell is of a higher level than you can cast you must roll a saving throw DC17 (+1 for each level above your highest spell slot) using your spell casting ability. on a failed save the spell fails and you take 2d6 force damage for each charge expended.
