Arcane Mechanist's Core (Masterwork)

The Core now hums with layered enchantments and microscopic arcane channels.  It is the peak of Artificer engineering.

• Spellcasting Focus:  You can use the Core as your spellcasting focus for your Artificer spells.
• Toolform:  As a bonus action, you can cause the Core to reshape into a set of Tinkerer's Tools.  When in this form, it cannot be used as a spellcasting focus until returned to normal (bonus action to revert).
• Arcane Reserve:  Now Once per short rest, you can reroll a failed ability check made with any Artisans Tools, using the new result.
• Integrated Toolforms:  The Core can now become any set of artisan's tools you are proficient with.
• Efficient Magic:  Now once per short rest, you can cast Identify and Detect Magic as a ritual, without expending a spell slot or material components.  You also gain the Mending cantrip.
• Spell Circuitry:  When you cast a 1st level Artificer spell that restores hit points, you can add your Intelligence modifier to the healing done.
• Arcane Surge:  When you use your Arcane Reserve feature, you can also regain one expended spell slot of 2nd level or lower.
• Dynamic Crafting:  When using artisan's tools created by the Core to craft a magical item, you can reduce the crafting time by half (minimum 1 day).
• Warding Pulse:  As a reaction when you take damage, you can cause the Core to emit a protective pulse, granting temporary hit points equal to your Artificer level + your Intelligence modifier.  Usable once per short or long rest.
