Armor (half plate), legendary

✦ Base Properties

  • You gain your full dex modifier while wearing this armor.

  • You gain resistance to psychic damage and are immune to being surprised.

  • You may add your Charisma modifier to Dexterity saving throws.

šŸŽ² Divine Misdirection (3/Day)

As a reaction when you're targeted by an attack, spell, or ability:

  • Roll 1d6 on the Trick Table below to alter reality. Effects last until the end of your next turn.

d6 Trick Table Effect
1 You and the attacker teleport 10 feet in random directions (roll d8 for each).
2 You become invisible until the start of your next turn.
3 An illusory clone of you appears in your space; the attack hits it instead.
4 The attacker must make a DC 18 Wisdom save or laugh uncontrollably (Tasha's Hideous Laughter) for 1 round.
5 Your armor becomes liquid shadow; you gain resistance to all damage until the end of your next turn.
6 You swap places with a random creature within 30 feet. You both regain 10 HP.

šŸ•¶ļø Mask of a Thousand Lies

As an action, you may alter your appearance (as Disguise Self, no limit).
Additionally, any creature attempting to discern your true identity, alignment, or surface thoughts has disadvantage and must make a DC 20 Intelligence (Arcana or Insight) check to succeed.

šŸŽ Rellivarn’s Gambit (1/Long Rest)

Once per long rest, you may invoke the Trickster’s favor. Choose one die roll made by you or another creature (attack roll, saving throw, or ability check) and change the result to any number you wish.

This ability must be declared before the result of the roll is revealed.

After using this feature, you suffer disadvantage on your next saving throw

šŸƒ Trickster’s Soul

While attuned to Harlequin’s Veil, you gain:

  • +1 to Charisma and Dexterity (max 22).

  • Advantage on Deception and Performance checks.

  • Once per long rest, when you roll a natural 1, you may instead treat it as a natural 20—but you must loudly announce the lie as if you succeeded beforehand.

āš ļø Sentience

Harlequin’s Veil is a sentient chaotic neutral artifact with the mind of a jester-priest of Sylveraen who died laughing. It communicates via emotion, spontaneous illusions, and riddle-speech only you can understand.

  • Personality: Playful, mocking, but protective. Enjoys ā€œimprovingā€ your plans.

  • Desire: It wishes to cause poetic, ironic outcomes, especially when the odds are stacked against the wearer.

  • Quirk: Occasionally (5% chance/day), the armor pranks you—teleports you 5 feet, reverses your voice pitch, or makes birds sing when you enter a room.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.

Notes: Stealth Disadvantage
