The Ancient Relic of Devotion is an odd magic item indeed. For it was not forged for one deity, but for any deity a priest or cleric wants. This Talisman is worn around the neck and has a beautiful silver, gold, or platinum chain attached to it.
When found, The Ancient Relic of Devotion is in the shape of what ever deities symbol the previous owner wanted it to be. It is made of gold, platinum and several precious gems and whatever shape it is currently in, it is of extreme beauty. But when held by a cleric the artifact instills in their mind instantly that it can shapeshift into any divine symbol the cleric wants if they truly worship that deity.
Attuning to the The Ancient Relic of Devotion requires a 24 hour ritual to be performed while the cleric prays and chants to their deity. At the end of the 24 hours, they are attuned to the symbol and it magically takes the shape of the cleric's chosen deities holy symbol that they truly worship. At the end of the Ritual the cleric places the necklace over their head and they can instantly feel a stronger connection to their deity granting the following benefits:
- Concentration - You can now hold concentration on 2 spells at the same time. The DC of your concentration saving throw is either half the damage taken or 12, whichever is higher.
- Prepare Extra Spells - You can prepare additional spells per day equal to your wisdom modifier +1
- Additional Spell Slots - You gain one additional spell slot for any spell level you already have spell slots in.
- Additional Channel Divinity - You gain one extra Channel Divinity per day.
- Greater Divine Intervention - You may re-roll your Divine Intervention attempt. Once you use this ability you may not use it for 1 week.
- Halo - You gain a protective halo. This halo sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. You can dismiss or manifest the halo as a bonus action. While present, the halo gives you advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to interact with good creatures and Charisma (Intimidation) checks made to interact with evil creatures. In addition, fiends and undead within the halo’s bright light make attack rolls against you with disadvantage.
