Weapon (battleaxe), very rare (requires attunement by a Dwarf)

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

It has the thrown property with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet.

When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, the axe stays stationary and the dwarf is instead thrown at the target impacting for the full weapon damage plus it deals an extra 1d8 damage or, if the target is a giant, 2d8 damage. The thrown dwarf takes half of the weapon damage upon impact.

Immediately after the attack, the dwarf flies back to the axe.

unless a remove curse is cast on the axe, any attempt to discard, sell, or otherwise dispose of the axe will cause the dwarf to tirelessly seek to be rejoined with the axe.  Any attempt to rest or sleep is plagued by disturbing thoughts and dreams resulting in exhaustion.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
