While wearing this armor, you gain the ability to speak and understand abyssal, but cannot communicate in Common.

Any charm effect is suppressed while wearing this armor, with the caveat of having all strong emotions becoming suppressed as well. The wearer is incapable of realizing their emotions have been dampened.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
