Amulet of the Primal Wyrm

Forged from the scales of an ancient dragon, this amulet pulses with the raw essence of your draconic bloodline. Its surface shimmers with elemental energy matching your ancestry—crackling lightning, rippling frost, or smoldering embers—and draconic runes glow faintly along its edges. When you attune to it, the amulet bonds to your soul, its power growing in tandem with your draconic might. Spectral wings of elemental energy briefly manifest around you when you first grasp it, a promise of the power within.

Properties:

1. Elemental Supremacy

   • Your mastery over your draconic element is unmatched. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals damage matching your Draconic Ancestry type:

     • Gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and increase the spell’s saving throw DC by 2.

     • When using your Elemental Affinity  feature, roll two additional damage dice for the spell (e.g., a 3rd-level fireball deals 10d6 fire damage instead of 8d6).

2. Draconic Fury (2/Day)

   • As a bonus action, you roar like your draconic forebear, channeling primal fury into your magic. The next spell you cast before the end of your turn that matches your ancestry’s damage type deals maximum damage (do not roll dice).

   • The spell ignores resistance to its damage type. If a target is immune, it instead treats the immunity as resistance.

   • You regain all uses of this feature at dawn.

3. Wings of the Dragon (5 Charges)

   • As a bonus action, expend 1 charge to summon elemental draconic wings (e.g., fiery, icy, or crackling with lightning) for 10 minutes. You gain a flying speed of twice your walking speed, and while flying:

     • Creatures that hit you with a melee attack take elemental damage equal to your Charisma modifier (damage type matches your ancestry).

   • The amulet regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn.

4. Resonance of the Primal Wyrm (1/Short Rest)

   • You twist magic to serve your draconic nature. When you cast a spell that deals a damage type other than your Draconic Ancestry, you may replace its damage type with your ancestry’s type (e.g., turning a lightning bolt into a fire bolt if you are fire-aligned).

5. Ascendant Awakening (1/Week)

   • As an action, you unleash the dormant power of your bloodline, entering a draconic ascendant state for 1 minute:

     • Elemental Overdrive: Spells of your ancestry type deal +3 damage per damage die.

     • Supreme Wings: Your flying speed from Wings of the Dragon becomes triple your walking speed, and you hover.

     • Dragon’s Resilience: You have advantage on saving throws against effects that deal your ancestry’s damage type.

   • After this effect ends, you gain 1 level of exhaustion.

Thematic Effects:

• The amulet’s runes flare brightly when you use Metamagic on spells of your ancestry.

• While Ascendant Awakening is active, your body briefly transforms—scales ripple across your skin, your voice booms draconic words, and your spells manifest as spectral dragon heads or claws.

• Creatures damaged by your Wings of the Dragon retaliation effect see brief, terrifying visions of your draconic ancestor.
