Normally it seems mundane, detect magic does not register it as magic, though higher level magics show it as faintly magical - no other details.
Until awakened, it functions as a +0 weapon.
Once awakened, a single rose (or other flower) grows on the bow every morning (and falls off at dusk).
Arrows fired from the bow, sprout thorns as the bow is drawn and deal an extra 1d4 thorn damage.
The 1d4 is at DM discretion, if the player can roll play how "thorny they are feeling" - this is per arrow.
If a creature is killed by an arrow from this bow while standing on dirt, an tree grows instantly on the spot, consuming the corpse,
worn and carried items are expelled into the surrounding area randomly.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
