Weapon (pistol), very rare (requires attunement by a by an artificer.)

This arcane sidearm hums with quiet sentience, its chamber spinning with aetheric charge. Forged in a collaborative effort of Flynn and Renford, Aetherbrand is attuned not to strength or skill, but to pure intellect. Thought guides its aim. Will powers its blast.

You can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Dexterity, for attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon. Aetherbrand deals force damage instead of piercing damage and does not require ammunition, as arcane energy replenishes automatically from a self-contained crystal core.

Arcane Discharge. When you hit a creature with Aetherbrand, you can cause the shot to erupt with additional magical energy. The target takes an extra 1d6 force damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Spellweaver’s Sync. When you cast a cantrip as your action, you can make one weapon attack with Aetherbrand as a bonus action.

Entropy Pulse (1/Day). As an action, you fire a surge of unstable magic in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier), taking 4d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Constructs and objects automatically fail this saving throw and take double damage from this effect.

Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Damage: Force, Ignore Weapon Property: Loading, Replace Weapon Ability: Intelligence Score, Ranged Weapon Attack: Force, Replace Damage Type: Force, by an artificer., Loading, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Vex
