These sleek green-fletched arrows are filled with volatile alchemical acid. When fired, they leave a faint trail of vapor in the air and erupt in a splash of corrosive energy upon striking their target.

When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack using this arrow, the target takes 4d4 acid damage immediately and 2d4 acid damage at the end of its next turn, as the acid continues to eat away at it.

The arrow is destroyed after it hits or misses.

This effect mimics the Melf’s Acid Arrow spell cast at 2nd level, but applies automatically on a hit and requires no spellcasting.
