A dark, glassy gemstone shot through with glowing crimson veins. Warm to the touch, it emits faint pulses of infernal energy.

Each soulstone is worth 250 gp and can be used as:

• Currency in infernal or planar trade.
• A spell component for any spell requiring a gem worth 250 gp (e.g., Glyph of Warding, Legend Lore).
• A focus for necromantic or conjuration spells.

When used in place of a gem component, infernal or Abyssal symbols may appear briefly in the caster’s eyes or spell effects.

These gems are often harvested from the remains of fiends or soul forges deep in the Abyss.
