Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement)

This heavy metal guitar looks like it was forged in a volcano and tuned by a god of thunder. Strings of enchanted soulsteel hum with arcane power, and when strummed in battle, lightning crackles from its jagged edges. Each spell is unleashed not by spoken word—but by music.

Weapon Function — “Stage Slam” When words and chords aren’t enough, the bard can wield the guitar itself as a melee weapon.

• Type: Improvised Weapon (counts as magical) • Damage: 1d8 bludgeoning + Charisma modifier

• Properties: Versatile (1d10 if wielded two-handed), counts as magical for overcoming resistance

The guitar is reinforced with soulsteel and arcane wiring—it’s not just for show. When swung, it gives off a deep reverberating chord with every strike, like smashing someone with the opening chord of a doom solo. On a critical hit, the guitar emits a dissonant burst that causes the nearest window, bottle, or glass object within 10 feet to crack or shatter
