When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with this weapon, you can use your reaction to unleash a surge of dread. Another creature within 10 feet of the fallen must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of your next turn. This ability can be used once per short rest.

**Wound of Remembrance**
When you score a critical hit with this weapon, the target takes an additional 1d8 necrotic damage, as echoes of past sins tear at its soul.

**Pact Weapon**
This weapon counts as your Pact Weapon if you are a Warlock with the Hexblade patron.
