The astrolabe has 4 charges, marked by 4 glowing gemstones which fade as the charges are used.
Spells. While holding the astrolabe, you can cast one of the spells on the following table from it. The table indicates how many charges you must expend to cast the spell. Casting a spell in this manner does not require concentration; however, the spell effect ends if cast again upon another creature.
| Spell | Charge Cost |
|---|---|
| Guidance | 0 |
| Augury | 1 |
Regaining Charges. The astrolabe regains 1d4 expended charges daily when used under the night sky. If you expend the astrolabe's last charge, roll 1d20. On a 1, the gemstones crack and cannot be recharged, and the astrolabe loses all magical properties. It continues to function as a non-magical item.
