Weapon (longsword), uncommon
The Alchemist’s Blade acts as a regular longsword while also gaining the following benefits:
- Alchemical Damage. When an alchemical compound is added to the reservoir of the blade, the normal slashing damage is chemically altered to change to one of the following damage types (Depending on the type of alchemical compound) - Fire, Cold, Lightning, Thunder, Acid, Poison, Necrotic or Force. This effect lasts for 1d4+1 successful hits with the blade. (Alchemical compounds can be added/switched with a Bonus Action).
- Other Elixers. When a potion or elixir (i.e. Alchemist's Fire, Basic Vial of Poison, etc.) is added to the reservoir, the weapon will deal extra damage corresponding to the type of elixir on a successful hit. This extra damage is only applied to the first strike made with the weapon. (The Alchemical Damage effect also correlates to the type of elixir).
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: This weapon was engineered and crafted by the alchemist Strurrark Pivovar originally., Versatile, Sap
