Flamebound Arm of the Soltree
Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by Philippa Rougetoison)
Forged from a splinter of the Arbre-Soleil and grafted into living flesh, this divine limb burns with eternal radiance. It replaces your arm completely and becomes your primary striking weapon — a conduit for holy flame and celestial wrath.
While attuned to this item, you gain the following benefits:
Radiant Unarmed Strikes
-
You can use your unarmed strike as a magical melee weapon.
-
To Hit: +6 (DEX +3, Proficiency +3)
-
Damage: 1d6 + 3 fire damage.
-
Counts as magical for overcoming resistance and immunity.
-
You can make 2 unarmed strikes as your Attack action.
Radiant Reservoir
You gain 3 Ki Points, which refresh on a short or long rest. These may only be used to activate the following monk features:
-
Flurry of Blows (1 Ki) – Make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action after taking the Attack action.
-
Step of the Wind (1 Ki) – Disengage or Dash as a bonus action; your jump distance is doubled.
-
Patient Defense (1 Ki) – Dodge as a bonus action.
These abilities use your Dexterity modifier and Warlock level for any relevant calculations.
Holy Weapon (1/day)
Once per long rest, you can cast the spell Holy Weapon on your unarmed strikes (no components required).
-
Duration: 1 hour (Concentration)
-
Effect: Your strikes deal +2d8 radiant damage on hit, and emit bright light (30 ft) and dim light (30 ft more).
-
Explosion: As a bonus action, you can dismiss the effect and cause a radiant burst:
-
All creatures within 30 ft must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw.
-
On failure: take 4d8 radiant damage (half on success).
-
Additional Effects
-
You have resistance to non-magical fire damage.
-
The arm sheds dim light in a 5 ft radius at will.
-
On a critical hit, you may impose disadvantage on the target’s next attack roll (1/long rest).
-
The arm cannot be removed or concealed except by illusion or major transformation.
A claw is a simple, bladed melee weapon worn as a glove that deals 1d6 slashing damage on a hit and has the attached and light properties.
