Orgueil & Entropie

Weapon (dagger, pair), very rare (requires attunement by Philippa Rougetoison)

Forged by a cunning Fey lord bound to trickery and illusion, these twin daggers were later claimed by Vassago through an ancient pact sealed in blood and shadow. One reveals what hides, the other vanishes without a trace. Together, they embody deception incarnate.


Weapon Type

  • Melee Weapon (Dagger, Finesse, Light, Thrown 20/60)

  • Wielded as a paired set


Attack Bonus

  • To Hit: +7 (+3 DEX, +3 proficiency, +1 magic)


Damage

  • Orgueil (main hand):
    1d4 + 4 piercing + 1d6 radiant

  • Entropie (off-hand):
    1d4 + 4 piercing + 1d6 necrotic


Dual Wield Combat Logic

  • Action: Make two attacks with Orgueil.

  • Bonus Action: Make one attack with Entropie.

  • These attacks are considered magical.


Sneak Attack

Philippa can apply Sneak Attack once per turn under the following conditions:

  • She uses a finesse or ranged weapon (both daggers qualify).

  • She has advantage on the attack roll OR an ally is within 5 ft of the target, and the ally isn’t incapacitated.

Sneak Attack Damage :
+3d6 additional damage (of the same type as the base weapon: piercing).


Special Abilities

Orgueil — Dagger of Revelation (1/day)

  • Bonus action: Emits bright light in a 20 ft radius for 1 minute.

  • Reveals invisible creatures in range; they cannot benefit from invisibility.

  • Light can be dismissed freely.

Entropie — Dagger of Disappearance (1/day)

  • Bonus action: Become invisible for 1 minute, or until you attack or cast a spell.

  • This is true invisibility; non-magical detection fails.

Mask of Flesh (1/day)

  • After touching a creature with your hand, you may use a bonus action to assume that creature’s exact physical appearance for 1 hour.

  • Functions like Disguise Self, but perfect visual mimicry.

  • Requires skin contact

 

 

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
