This very rare Studded Leather armour is finely crafted from the hide (leather) and scales (studs) of both a Blue Dragon and Red Dragon. Its rarity and high cost is not only due to acquiring both types of scales but crafting them together in one suit requires a very skilled craftsman. Usually requiring 50% more materials to create.
The bearer gains the appropriate dragon attributes: +2 bonus to AC, resistance to fire and cold damage and Truesight (10 feet)
Armor of Fire and Ice can be crafted only by a very skilled smith or armorer and at a cost that is twice that of comparable +2 AC suits and requires 50% more material to create.
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
