This ornate bracer comes with an attached elegantly constructed piece of hand jewellery which slips over the fingers and thumb of one hand.

Whilst attuned to the bracer it functions as a Spellcasting focus which grants a bonus to spell attacks which are channeled through it. The bonus is determined by the rarity of the item.

Whilst attuned to the item you can use an action to target a creature you can see within 30ft. Rather than forcing the target to make a saving throw against a damaging cantrip you know, you instead make a melee spell attack against the target, throwing out a visible whip-like lash of energy of the type dealt by the cantrip. On a hit you deal 1d8 per damage die of the cantrip, plus an applicable boost to damage based on the bracer’s rarity. This attack only deals damage - any other effects of the cantrip do not pass through the lash to affect the target.
