This tactical harness consists of reinforced leather straps, brass buckles, and a sleek mechanical backpack. Targeting lenses mounted on adjustable arms can swing down over your eyes, displaying arcane trajectory calculations in glowing runes. The backpack contains six cylindrical chambers, each holding an alchemical charge that hums with contained force energy.
Properties:
- The harness weighs 15 pounds and can be worn over light or medium armor.
- The backpack contains 6 alchemical charges. You can craft 2 new charges during each long rest using alchemical supplies worth 10 gp.
- While wearing the harness, you have advantage on Perception checks related to spotting targets from above.
Precision Bombing Run: As an action while flying or hovering at least 20 feet above the ground, you can drop up to 3 alchemical charges at different points along a straight line path. You must move in a straight line during this action, and any turns require 10 feet of movement per 90 degree turn. Each charge explodes on impact, targeting a 10-foot radius centered on the point of impact. Creatures in the area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 4d6 force damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half damage and aren't knocked prone. Objects in the area take maximum damage.
Targeting Lenses: As a bonus action, you can deploy or retract the targeting lenses. While deployed, you can see the trajectory path of your bombing runs as glowing lines visible only to you. Additionally, the lenses mark weak points in structures - when your alchemical charges hit buildings, walls, or other structures, they deal double damage to objects.
Emergency Ejection: If you are reduced to 0 hit points while wearing the harness, you can use your reaction to detonate all remaining charges in the backpack. Each creature within 20 feet of you must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 force damage per remaining charge on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. This destroys the harness and all remaining charges.
