This brutal, baroque suit of infernal plate armor is scorched black and engraved with battle scenes where devils march eternally under Zariel's banner. The soul of a once-noble knight who fell in her service is bound within, whispering forth Zariel's orders to advance on her enemy. The armor emits a faint scent of sulfur and brimstone.
While wearing this armor, you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Once per long rest, you can invoke Zariel's Orders - for one minute, you gain resistance to fire damage and your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 fire damage. During this time, you are unable to take the Disengage, Dodge, or Hide actions.
This armor is cursed, and attuning to it extends the curse to the wearer. While the curse persists, the armor cannot be removed willingly.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
