This ancient spear once belonged to Argo, king of the Argonauts and founder of one of the first human kingdoms. Though aged, its shaft is uncracked and its silvered tip gleams with runes that glow faintly when oaths are spoken nearby.
Oathkeeper’s Blessing – Once per long rest, when the wielder makes an attack roll or saving throw in defense of an ally who has sworn an oath (or who has a Bond or Ideal related to loyalty, duty, or family), they may roll with advantage.
Echo of the First Kingdom – When wielded by a human or half-human, the spear sheds a dim golden light in a 10-foot radius. Allies within this radius gain +1 to Wisdom (Perception) checks.
Legacy of Kings (Flaw) – The wielder must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw if they willingly break a promise or oath. On a failure, they are cursed with disadvantage on Charisma checks for 24 hours.
Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
