An item of incredible power! Usually being guarded by the the formidable monster Roshan, the Aegis of The Immortal was been an artifact that has drifted into myth and legend, an item that could immediatly ressurect whoever had it in its possession. Some say Roshan was cursed to immortality for stealing this artifact from the Gods themselves. It is said that if the Aegis is not found by Roshan's side, the creature would seek it out, leaving a path of death and destruction. Even death cannot contain it's search for this item as the cursed monster will be painfully ressurected time and time again until it is calmed by having The Aegis by it's side or when it is used and returns back to Roshan.
Once taken by someone it cannot be transferred to anyone else.
Upon Death the creature carrying this item is resserected to full HP as well as having all their spellslots and abilities, if this in combat, they will ressurect the next round on their turn with thunderous fanfare announcing their return.
The Aegis will then be consumed and return to Roshan in 1 years time, after this it can be claimed again by stealing it from Roshan or by killing him.
