This bracelet is inlaid with shimmering crystal, pulsing faintly with the heartbeat of the earth itself. Its weight is comforting and immense, as if anchoring the soul of its bearer.

Properties

• Earth’s Endurance (Revised): Once per day, as an action, the wearer can activate the Arbiter’s Band to gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks while standing on natural earth or stone. This effect lasts for 5 minutes.
• Shifting Stance: Once per long rest, as a reaction to being knocked prone or restrained, the wearer may become rooted—immediately ending the effect, and gaining advantage on saving throws against being moved or knocked prone for 1 minute.
• Balance of Power: The bracelet can be activated (once per dawn) to invoke Terran’s Judgment. For 5 minutes, all allies within 30 feet add +2 to Strength and Constitution checks and saving throws, but if any ally attempts to act out of selfishness or cruelty during this time, the bracelet becomes inert for the next 24 hours.
• Earth’s Whisper: The wearer can communicate simple emotions and concepts to Terran, wherever he slumbers, and may beseech his counsel in times of grave need. Terran may respond with cryptic wisdom or a brief vision, but only to those who continue to respect balance and humility.

Curse of Hubris

Should the wearer act with arrogance, seeking domination or destruction, the bracelet grows unbearably heavy and cannot be removed until the wearer atones and restores balance through a meaningful act of unity or creation.

The Arbiter’s Band is more than a token of victory; it is a living testament to the wisdom of restraint and the unyielding power found in harmony. Those who wield it do so at the pleasure of Terran, and only so long as they honor the lesson of his trial.
