In addition to the +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor, the natural fibers of the breastplate allows the wearer to use a reaction to move up to 30 feet towards an attacked ally and take the damage instead. The armor has 2 charges per day.
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
