Armor (studded leather), very rare (requires attunement by a risky journey to the Shadowfel, and a pledge of one's soul in service to the Raven Queen. )

To attune to this armor, one must journey to the Shadowfel and pledge one's soul to the Raven Queen, forsaking all other deities or entities to whom they were previously beholden. If the Raven Queen looks with favor upon their offering, (Roll Persuasion DC 17) she may consent to bestow her favor, and the armor, to her new supplicant. All attempting to wear the armor without fulfilling the ritual as described (or who fail their Persuasion roll) will henceforth neither gain the benefits awarded by a Long Rest nor be capable of receiving healing magics if cast upon them. They will also suffer disadvantage on Death Saves and are certain to meet the Raven Queen upon their demise. Those failing their Persuasion roll may try again after a TenDay has passed, but must have done something in the interim to show reverence to the Raven Queen.

You have a +2 bonus to AC while wearing this suit of hardened black leather armor. The studs/rivets are crafted to appear as skulls. From its shoulders appears a capelet of black raven's feathers.

As an ACTION, the wearer may transform into a Swarm of Ravens gaining (2d8+3) hit points. The wearer will enjoy their movement speed and other attributes for a number of hours equal to their proficiency bonus.  A Swarm of Ravens can fly up to twenty miles in an hour if unimpeded (regardless of the 50 feet/round movement rate).

As an ACTION, the wearer can also cast Speak with dead as well as Death Ward once per long rest.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
