You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit with an attack roll using this sword, the target takes an extra 1d8 poison damage.
When you hit with this weapon, you create a Wound on the target. Each wound increases the damage of this weapon by +1. A single target may have up to 6 Wounds. At the end of the target's turn, they take 1d4 of damage for each Wound they have as poison damage. If the target receives any healing, all wounds are removed.
You can use an bonus action to cause thick, black poison to coat the blade. The poison remains for 1 minute or until an attack using this weapon hits a creature. That creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. This ability can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
