Astral Amulet

Gifted as a token of friendship from an Astral Elf in the past, this amulet allows a creature to access the shared elven memory and experiences of entities from the Astral Plane.

When a creature finishes a long rest while attuned to and wearing this item, they gain the following benefits until the end of a long rest:

• Gain proficiency in one chosen skill (cannot be initiative) or learn a language.
• Gain proficiency with one chosen tool or weapon. If your chosen weapon has the mastery property, you can use the mastery. A weapon with more complex mechanisms, such as a bow or pistol, still requires the relevant body parts (fingers, limbs etc.) to operate.

If the creature unattunes to the amulet or it is removed from them, the benefits granted by the item are lost.

Uncommon, Craftable: 4 Illithid Skull, 2 Elemental Core, Bazaar price 500gp
