Ring, very rare
Once worn, the adorned digit...
- Feels no pain and is nearly indestructible. Things like normal physical damage or non-magical fire will not harm it.
- Can move autonomously. Can detach and act like "mage hand" but inching along the floor. It has no time duration and can go as far as the owner can see. It can do whatever a finger can do but is abnormally strong and nimble.
- If the owner is knocked unconscious the finger detaches and tries to help anyway it can.
- If the owner is killed the digit will try to house the soul. Make a Con save. The player is now the digit and can try to save themselves by going to get help or such actions. The finger is not a hospitable enough vessel for extended life and the digit/player will fully perish after 20 minutes or so.
