A totem that when thrown or placed onto any surface will burrow into said surface and a golem made of the same substance as the surface will emerge from the surface.
If thrown at a living creature, the creature takes 1d4 bludgeoning damage, but the totem will not burrow into the creature and will instead burrow once it hits a different surface. However it can be placed on or thrown at a deceased corpse and it will burrow into the corpse.
The golem's form will appear as a random humanoid creature, with variations due to what it is made from, unless the person who uses the totem focuses on what form they want the golem to appear as and imbues those thoughts into the totem before placing or throwing.
Once formed into a golem, the totem forms it's core and is destroyed to destroy the golem.
