Weapon (dagger), artifact (requires attunement by a Any)

A stone sacrificial dagger with a roughly hewn untanned leather hilt. The blade seems to shift in the light like a layer of oil on water. This weapon has an otherworldly pull to it.

This weapon cannot be lost, destroyed, or exist in any other plane than the wielder it is attuned to. If it is more than 100ft away from the user at any time, it will reappear in their hand, regardless of what was previously in it. 

When you succeed on an Attack Roll made with this weapon, you may use your Bonus Action and gain 1 Level of Exhaustion to cause psychic energy to hemorrhage the target, dealing an additional [roll]8d8[/roll] psychic damage.  

The wielder may choose to deal psychic damage instead of piercing damage.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
